In its ongoing pursuit of excellence, KHCC received international accreditation from the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). Originally earned in February 2006, this accreditation was renewed in February 2009. In December 2007, KHCC received its second accreditation, also from JCAHO, as a disease-specific cancer center, making it the only center in the Arab World and the sixth in the world to carry such an honor.

In 2009, the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine was awarded an international accreditation from the College of American Pathologists (CAP) recognizing the exceptional high quality of KHCC’s pathology and laboratory services. This honor confirms that the KHCC laboratories meet and exceed regulatory requirements, yielding the highest accuracy levels of laboratory results.

KHCC was also accredited in 2009 by the Health Accreditation Council of Jordan (HCAC), affirming that KHCC applies and enforces the national healthcare quality standards for patient care, patient safety, and organizational excellence.

All of these acknowledgements are valuable stamps of quality which validate the high standards of comprehensive care that KHCC offers.
