The King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) was founded in 1997 by a Royal Decree to combat cancer in Jordan and the Middle East region. It is a free-standing, independent, non-governmental, not-for-profit organization.
KHCF is the legal umbrella organization which provides fundraising and support for the King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC), the Foundation’s medical arm. The Foundation is run by a Board of Trustees comprised of a dedicated group of prominent volunteers and chaired by HRH Princess Ghida Talal.
The Foundation undertakes various fundraising programs to benefit the life-saving work of KHCC. The Director General of the Foundation is HRH Princess Dina Mired and Dr. Mahmoud Sarhan is the Director General of the King Hussein Cancer Center.
