JORDAN CANCER STATISTICS 2007  

■ Cancer is the second leading cause of death in Jordan after heart disease
■ 4,332 new cancer cases were registered among Jordanians in 2007: 2048 males (47.3%) and 2284 females
(52.7%)
■ 1494 Non-Jordanian registered cases, accounting for (25.6 %) of all registered cases (5826 Jordanians and
non-Jordanians)
■ There were 198 reported cases of cancer below the age of 15
