HRH Princess Ghida and HRH Princess Dina were invited to join Mayor Richard M. Daley for lunch along with many influential individuals where the Princesses were able to introduce the Foundation. This lunch was hosted by Gigi Pritzker and Sam Oudeh.

Under the Patronage of their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania, the Hope Gala was held in Washington D.C. on June 14th, 2004. This Gala was dedicated to supporting the life-saving research and treatment at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and its Jordanian partner, the King Hussein Cancer Foundation. The gala was a wonderful celebration of hope, and raised over $720,000!
